Castrol India has enrolled over 1.5 lakh mechanics and retailers on its unique digital incentive platform, ‘Castrol Fast Scan’. Offering a robust reward management system, the platform provides end to end solutions to the stakeholders. Promoting the use of Castrol products, the platform has seen over one lakh incentive coupons being scanned daily for reward aggregating worth six crores a month in beneficiary bank accounts. With Standard Chartered Bank as the banking partner for ‘Castrol Fast Scan’, the platform amounts to an industry first solution that enables digital upskilling and financial inclusion. Enabling sustained and customised engagement programs, the platform is currently helping retailers and mechanics to earn, track and redeem rewards, and to also receive them instantly in their bank account using IMPS.

Leveraging its past experience of providing free rides in Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad during the last phase of the odd-even rule, the company is hoping to create a pull. Receiving its latest series B round of funding, Rapido claims to have around 10 million subscribers across 90 Indian cities. It intends to ease out last-mile connectivity woes for commuters.
