Castrol India has enrolled over 1.5 lakh mechanics and retailers on its unique digital incentive platform, ‘Castrol Fast Scan’. Offering a robust reward management system, the platform provides end to end solutions to the stakeholde­rs. Promoting the use of Castrol products, the platform has seen over one lakh incentive coupons being scanned daily for reward aggregatin­g worth six crores a month in beneficiar­y bank accounts. With Standard Chartered Bank as the banking partner for ‘Castrol Fast Scan’, the platform amounts to an industry first solution that enables digital upskilling and financial inclusion. Enabling sustained and customised engagement programs, the platform is currently helping retailers and mechanics to earn, track and redeem rewards, and to also receive them instantly in their bank account using IMPS.

Embassy Industrial Parks has signed Faurecia as its client at its industrial park facility located in Chakan, Pune. The Chakan project has built-to-suit factories ranging from 50,000 sq. ft. to two lakh sq. ft. in size.

Having commenced operations in 2016 in NCR, Rapido has launched its services in Delhi. The Bangaloreb­ased two-wheeler ride-hailing company intends is targeting the metro commuters, and has found an opportunit­y in the ongoing odd-even scheme in the capital. Leveraging its past experience of providing free rides in Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad during the last phase of the odd-even rule, the company is hoping to create a pull. Receiving its latest series B round of funding, Rapido claims to have around 10 million subscriber­s across 90 Indian cities. It intends to ease out last-mile connectivi­ty woes for commuters.
