Property buyers should book a flat after proper due diligence about builder, title of land and whether builder has received statutory approvals, etc. Soon after booking, flat buyers should contact other allottees and form a home buyers’ association for the project. They will be in a better position to keep a watch on the progress of the building as an association rather than individually. The law provides legal standing to such an association.
