If your smartphone is lost or stolen, the easiest way to remotely locate it is via a dedicated app and making sure that the option to track its location is always turned on. For example, for iOS there’s the tracking solution called ‘Find my iPhone’, for Android it is ‘Android Device Manager’, and so on. d) In case your phone is lost or stolen, it will be great to erase your important data from afar. You can do this through remote wiping, and it’s relatively easy to do on most devices. Again using the iPhone’s example, simply enabling ‘Find my Phone’ on the device will allow you to remote wipe.
