I’ve always been a fan of customisation and it certainly helped me live through this challenge. Being restricted forced me to use my imagination and my styling skills multiplied (if I may say so myself).

At the end of a year—and challenge—the experience really helped draw a clear line between my desires and needs. I am aware that, as a consumer, my decisions have an impact on both the environment and society. Now, I avoid fast fashion and invest in quality pieces from young designers and independent brands.”
