When did you know you wanted to be designers?
“From the time we were little girls, we were fascinated with clothes and glamour in old Hollywood films. When the time came to make a career choice, we knew what we wanted to do.”
When did you get your break?
“We started small and decided to grow organically. Within a year of our launch, we tied up with a retail chain called ‘Be:’. We suddenly started selling out of many stores
over the country.”
Why is being a designer your dream job?
“Because to create something that starts as a thought and is ultimately worn by someone is very gratifying. Fashion is more than just a pretty dress.”
What is your advice to someone who wants to become a designer?
“The most important thing is to be true to yourself. Create what you truly love. Also, nothing can be accomplished without hard work and passion.”
