Style a side part, then use an oval tong to create imperfect waves, and you’re good to go. “That night, sleep with a silk scarf wrapped around your head.” says hair stylist Kevin Murphy. “It’s the best trick to maintain your style.”
“Blast in dry shampoo to take care of any built-up oil, then move your part to the middle,” says David. Use a crimper in small sections to add a bit of texture. Then take the front section of each side, twist and secure them together at the back of your head.
Softly pull the hair into a loose bun,” says David. “Use the tips of your fingers to pull a few fine hair out around your face and spray them lightly with hairspray.” It creates a modern, romantic look.
