Revv Amplifies its one-way Outstation Self Drive Product After Successful Pilot

Revv, the Delhi/NCR based shared mobility solutions platform, is set to double the coverage of its one-way outstation self-drive product. It had introduced the product in May 2017 on a pilot basis, bringing the concept of self-drive to one-way outstation travel. Following a strong market reception to the pilot, it will launch new service routes this week, including popular routes such as Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Chandigarh, and Hyderabad-Vizag.

The facility comes bundled with Revv’s standard doorstep delivery offering, giving its users the flexibility to pick a car from anywhere in the origin city and leave it anywhere in the destination city. Users can customize the duration, route, stopovers etc as per their convenience.

During the 10 week pilot run, the product served more than 1,000 users on both intra-state and interstate routes such as Mumbai-Pune, Bangalore-Chennai, and Bangalore-Hyderabad. Revv’s one-way product is supported by its proprietary inventory management technology, which automatically balances inventory across cities and maximizes availability on the busiest routes.
