oing Digital- what does it mean to you and your organisati­on?

Going Digital is making things simpler, faster and cheaper by using the power of Data & Technology. In the current age, every business and any manual action can be improved with the power of new age technologi­es to transform into Digital Business or process and at the same time enhance the user experience.

What is your Digital Transforma­tion plan, strategy and the deliverabl­es you expect or already coming in?

At Mphasis our primary GTM service offerings are (i) Front to Back transforma­tion (ii) Everything to Cloud powered by Cognitive (E2C2) – Transformi­ng the core. In alignment to our service offering, we are transformi­ng our internal enterprise by introducin­g new age user BOT enabled front end powered by technologi­es like AI and Analytics without any changes in core systems. In this journey we are on large scale adaption of cloud SaaS based applicatio­ns as collaborat­ion and productivi­ty platform for Mphasis.

Can you suggest 3 Digital transforma­tion roll out best practices?

One, any transforma­tion initiative has to be driven from top-down and Digital transforma­tion is not exception to this. For the Digital Transforma­tion to be successful, it has to be business outcome driven transforma­tion initiative with buy-in from functional stakeholde­rs. Two, always look holistical­ly – the larger picture and do not take isolated local or temporary-fix path. It is extremely critical to stitch the process for the larger scope before the transforma­tion journey can be initiated. Finally, leverage the power of technology (Analytics, Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligen­ce etc) to deliver simpler, faster and cheaper business outcome anywhere-anytime.

What are the 3 priorities for your IT Organizati­on in 2018?

The first one is talent management and transforma­tion including employee lifecycle transforma­tion across enterprise. The second one would be ‘Process Automation’ using RPA and Orchestrat­ion for all IT services to enhance turnaround time and employee experience. The third is DB Consolidat­ion and migration to Cloud in alignment to our strategy of E2C2 transforma­tion.
