IT platforms can provide venues for women’s safety in many ways. InterraIT has entered into a partnership with the Gautam Buddh Nagar District Administration towards this direction. Asoke K Laha, President & CEO, Interra Information Technologies, interacted with us in an exclusive interview
Tell us about your IT-enabled services We all know that in today’s competitive business world, the most primary and critical need of any organisation is the faster delivery of products at a reduced cost without compromising the quality.
It is predicted that the market for product engineering services is expected to grow by approximately $1078 billion in 2021. In addition, the major trends foreseen to drive the growth in software product engineering services are the adoption of technologies such as IoT and AI.

Can you describe the vision for this CSR partnership? To create a safe space for women at workplaces, provide them a platform to air their grievances and enable the district administration to implement and monitor the ACT in a transparent manner. Work with Noida District Magistrate closely as partner and guidance. What all services will InterraIT provide as a partner? InterraIT will help in creating an Information Technology System, comprising a website and a mobile app for comprehensive implementation/monitoring of the POSH Act. Women can use the mobile app to lodge complaints about incidents of sexual harassments at their workplaces. District Administration will monitor and implement effectively. We will also provide awareness/ training sessions to Internal Complaints Committees and Local Complaints Committee and as required from time to time. What’s the plan to create sexual harassment awareness? Frequent training programmes for ICC members, awareness campaigns through print and visual media, web campaigns. InterraIT will work closely with Noida District Administration for their leadership and direction. What’s the timelines for trainings? Annual calendar will be published with details of monthly training, participation criteria, objectives and expected outcome of the training programmes. What’s the Investment involved in this partnership and the sharing between the government and InterraIT? InterraIT is contributing to this noble cause under the aegis of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program; we are thankful to the District Magistrate, Shri B.N Singh for this valuable opportunity to serve our community and society.
