Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is not at all perturbed over some ministers grumbling about not involving them in meetings where decisions are taken.

He was flooded with calls on Thursday by many ministers and legislator­s who conveyed to him that they were solidly behind him and supported all his moves. They have also conveyed to him that they are going to complain to the Congress High Command against the dissident ministers. While senior ministers criticised the CM for not consulting them about the new schemes, junior ministers supported him.

In view of the forthcomin­g General Elections, the CM is announcing a series of new welfare schemes to back on his efforts to bring in more schemes in the months to come.

Former minister J.C. Diwakara Reddy and Sattenapal­li MLA Yerram Venkateswa­ra Reddy felt that the situation is now favourable to Congress in the state, particular­ly after the Chief Minister introduced several schemes.

“We can face the electorate with these schemes and program-mes,” they added.
