Wednesday will be a busy day for more than a dozen officers belonging to the All India Service as the Hyderabad
bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) will take up the hearing of their pleas challenging cadre allotment by the Centre after divi
sion of the Andhra Pradesh. A two-member bench comprising B. Venkateshwara Rao ( judicial) and M.S. Ranjana Chowdary (admin) will hear the petitions by Somesh Kumar, C.
Hari Kiran, S.S. Rawat, G. Anantha Ramu, A. Vidya Sagar,
J.R. Anand, Ms Srijana Gummalla, L. Siva Shankar, Ms K. Amrapali, Ronald Rose, Ms Karuna Vakati and Vani Prasad IAS officers and Dr P.S. Raghavaiah IFS and Ms

that the findings of the Pratyush Sinha committee are erroneous with regard to finalising their domicile status and also considering their options
given for the allotment. The tribunal already granted interim stays in majority of the cases directing the Centre as
well as the states of AP and Telangana to continue them in their respective postings till the final disposal of their applica
tions.
