Samridh Bawa and Pranali Ghogare play LD and Radha in Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali on Life OK. Audiences seem to love the antagonists-turned-couple arc of their love story and Samridh and Pranali are ensuring they keep fans hooked with their chemistry. In a chat with us, they talk about working with each other and more: Q What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about your costar? Samridh: Innocence. Pranali is so young... whatever she does or says reflects complete innocence. Pranali: An amazing sense of humour. Samridh has a knack of taking the worst situations and making them funny. That’s one thing that I need to learn from him. Q What’s a fond memory you have of the other person? S: Pranali is from Mumbai and I am from Delhi. She tries to teach me Marathi and I try to teach her Dilli ki bhasha and every day we test each other. P: Samridh and I are both fond of peanut butter. So when we hear ‘cut’ we both rush to our rooms to eat peanut butter! Sometimes, if my jar gets over, then I have to knock on his door and beg for a spoonful from him. Q Tell us something about your co-star that fans wouldn’t know? S: Pranali can cry at the drop of a pin. Tears roll down her eyes in a jiffy — happy news or sad news, it does not matter. P: Samridh can make you believe anything easily — which he uses to his advantage. Q Tell us something about yourself that fans don’t know? S: I am a big foodie. I love to try new dishes or cuisines. I have a weakness for desserts — chocolate pastries and brownies. P: I am a little shy. Q What is your idea of a perfect date? S: When I was in school, I wanted to go on a jungle safari with my date and stay in a tree house. Now I am not much fascinated by this idea! But still, there is this little desire to fulfil this childhood fascination... P: A candle light dinner on the beach followed by a walk along the shore. I find happiness in little things so I do not need the stars and moon. Q Tell us about a memorable date you’ve had. S: During my college days, I was posted in Pune for an internship. It was there that I met a girl in a nearby cafe which I used to frequent. Soon I got to know that the cafe was owned by her uncle. She let me eat all the desserts for free everyday! That time spent at the cafe was memorable! P: I don’t have any.

Q Who are you closest to? S: My inspiring dad, Satish Bawa, my reserved and loving mom, Sudha Bawa, and my ‘second mom’, Sanchi Bawa... I call her didi. My sister has always taken care of me like a mother. They are all in Delhi... I miss them, but they are my support system. P: I am the closest to my mother. She is the love of my life. Q Have you ever had a starstruck moment?

S: Not starstruck as such, but yes, I do admire Hrithik Roshan. He is my inspiration. P: Yes. I was starstruck when I saw Shah Rukh (Khan) sir. He is an inspiration to every actor. I did not know how to react when I saw him. Q Tell us about your guilty indulgences. S: Pastries. I can easily skip my protein shake to indulge in some chocolate pastry. P: My mother’s pooran polis and ladoos. I cannot miss them. I request her not to make it often but she does anyway! So I’m left with no option, but to eat them.
