Challenging and a stunning game

GTA V FOR PC IS A GAME WITH EXCITING FEATURES AND IT HAS BEEN WORTH THE WAIT

Its been nearly two years in the making, but it has been worth it. GTA V PC is most definitely best and possibly only way one should ever play GTA V. Now, unlike most, I have actually played

GTA V on every console of every generation so far and I can safely say that the PC version will blow them out of the water. The game is an absolute treat even for returning gamers.

Having worked directly with Nvidia to make the most of PC hardware, Rockstar has done an amazing job optimising the game, resulting in stunning results even on medium budget PCs. There’s even an inbuilt benchmark tool to help fine tune the settings by running the game through various scenes to accurately gauge minimum, maximum and average performance settings.

Even with the lowest recommended card, the GTX 660, the game works great, and on today’s budget 960, the game runs smooth as well, way above 40-45 fps.

Now, onto the game: It’s the same amazing gameplay you’ve come to love from previous iterations of the game, with new features introduced in the new console versions like first person mode, though it feels awkward and unnatural here but third person is amazing. The traffic is denser making driving more of a challenge. The best gameplay feature is actually how the game allows you to switch seamlessly between a controller and mouse or keyboard setup for when you’re flying or shooting. Online still has its issues, mainly with the repetitive content but also the same old connectivity issues with friends randomly dropping out of lobbies at times leading to the inevitable heist failure. The heists are challenging and were enough to keep me playing with friends so I have money to spend in free roam, but it’s an absolutely rubbish experience with strangers,

The game also comes with mod support, essentially making the possibilities endless. There are already several great mods available

for the game, but do proceed with caution.

However, the greatest addition to GTA V on PC has nothing to how the game is played, rather how its seen. An amazing Director Mode lets you make stunning short films all using in game tools. Select characters you want, throw them into situations you are looking for and action. I was skeptical about GTA

V PC, seeing it as just another cash grab, but Rockstar has definitely put in a lot of work, definitely justifying the long wait. It's a great experience, for both newcomers and returning fans alike.
