AIRTEL FAILS TO PROVIDE NET CONNECTION

Iinitially requested an Airtel Broadband connection (reference number ONTMHYDER7 4633448C) on July 2, 2016. Surprising­ly, after a week, I got a call from Airtel and they asked me if their man could come to my house and do the wiring. A staffer said he would come in 30 minutes but no one came till evening. I called up after waiting till evening and then I heard from Airtel that there was an audit and that the man could not make it to my house that day. After that there is no one meeting or calling me for the next two weeks. After two weeks I got a call from Airtel Chennai checking if I have got the connection. When I said what happened, the customer service rep hung up the phone.

I tried reaching the same number again but there was no response and this is the way Airtel services its customers. All the hoardings and the publicity to extend services to customers are just a farce. Jaideep Bhattachar­jee
