‘DESIGNATED DRIVERS’ FOR SAFE DRIVING

Cyberabad police plans to implement the ‘Designated driver of the day’ concept to prevent drunk driving. The concept is practised in the US. As per this idea one person among a partying group will not consume alcohol and will drive the others home. Cops say that this is only an awareness campaign.

Meanwhile, On Saturday police booked 90 day drunk driving cases and 36 at night. Every day around 40 drunk driving cases are being booked during the day and around 100 cases at night in Cyberabad East and West commissionerates.
