Asteroid May Collide With Earth
SYDNEY, JULY
24. An asteroid nearly a mile across and with the explosive potential of 1,000 Hydrogen bombs may collide with earth in June 1968, a Sydney University Professor warned.
The Asteroid name Icarus, should miss the earth by about four million miles at its closest point of approach, Theoretical Physics Professor S.T. Butler said.
“But it would take only a microscopic change in the calculated orbit of this Asteroid to put it on a collision course with us,” he added.
