MAN CHASED AND STABBED TO DEATH

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man was brutally murdered in Hayathnaga­r on Monday evening. The victim, Venkatesh, was driving his bike when three persons on a bike, intercepte­d and stabbed him. Maddi Venkatesh Yadav, 40, hails from Nalgonda, and was staying at Munaganoor village along with his wife and three children. He is the eldest of six brothers. He owns a van which he drives himself. The brothers had land disputes and were not on good terms with each other. On Monday evening when he was coming home on his bike three bikers hit his bike from behind. Seeing them he started running. Bu they chased and hit him. After that they stabbed him on the chest. He suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot. The bikers fled from the spot. “We suspect the land disputes with his brothers led to his death. We are trying to collect details,” Hayathnaga­r inspector J. Narender Goud said. A murder case was registered and is being investigat­ed. Special teams have been formed to nab the suspects and a hunt is on.
