President Pranab Mukherjee presents the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna to badminton player P.V. Sindhu at the National Sports and Adventure Award 2016 function at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday. Apart from Sindhu, wrestler Sakshi Malik, gymnast Dipa Karmakar and shooter Jitu Rai were also conferred with India’s highest sporting honour. The four Khel Ratnas received a medal, certificate and cash prize of `7.5 lakh each.
