JAPAN TO FUND STUDY OF 30 IIT GRADUATES

The Japan Internatio­nal Cooperatio­n Agency on Thursday said 30 graduates from IIT-H would be offered scholarshi­ps to pursue masters or PhD in renowned universiti­es in Japan. The scholarshi­ps will cover tuition fees and logistics.

This was announced as part of the sixth edition of the academic fair held under aegis of JICA-Friendship Project, with Japanese ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu in attendance. So far, 37 IIT-H graduates have been sent to nine universiti­es in Japan.
