‘ANTI-NATIONAL’ OFFICERS SACKED

In a tough move, the Jammu and Kashmir government has sacked 12 of its officials on charges of being involved in anti-national activities which include fuelling the ongoing unrest in the state. While similar actions is likely to be taken against about a couple of dozen more government employees, 60 to 65 others are being watched closely. The officers sacked were mid-level officers from government department­s including Education, Public Health Engineerin­g, Food, Civil Supplies, etc.
