Kathmandu: The head of Nepal’s anti-corruption commission has been suspended after lawmakers accused him of abusing his position and lodged a motion to impeach him, a parliament spokesman said on Thursday. Lokman Singh Karki has headed the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority since 2013 and was a controversial appointment from the start because he had himself been the subject of corruption inquiries, although he has never been convicted.
