The body of a 32-year-old Monster.com employee was found burnt in Madhapur. With the help of a SIM card found on the victim’s partially burnt handbag found at the spot, police identified her as Korapu Sunitha. She was working as a telecaller for Monster.com.

Police said that Sunitha who left home for office on Wednesday morning did not attend work. Private guards who saw smoke rising from the bushes alerted the police. Police suspect a love affair for Sunitha’s death.

K. Sunitha, 32, was working as a telecaller with Monster.com since December 2016. Earlier, she was a telecaller at Sulekha.com. On Wednesday afternoon guards at Survey No: 1007 in Bhagyanagar Cooperative Society saw smoke rising from nearby bushes.

They rushed to the spot and found the charred body of a woman.

The police and Clues teams found a partially burnt handbag and a SIM card in it. Using that they identified the victim.

“The victim’s tongue was protruding out. We suspect, the killer could have smothered her. The spot is located away from the main road in the bushes. This could be the reason why nobody saw the incident,” Madhapur DCP N. Vishwaprasad said. He said her mobile phone and SIM were not found. “The killers could have damaged the phone or thrown it somewhere,” the DCP said.

Police found that Sunitha left home for work on Tuesday and returned at night, but did not attend duty. On Wednesday also, her brother Narsing Rao dropped her at the bus stop near Secunderabad railway station from where she took a bus to office, but did not report for work.

Sources said her mobile phone location with the second SIM showed that she was in Begumpet and in Patancheru on Tuesday. On Wednesday the killers could have brought her to the spot, killed her and fled.

“Since she joined only a month ago her colleagues were not aware of her movements. We are analysing her call records and CCTV cameras near the spot,” police officials said.
