PURI JAGANNADH, KNOWN FOR BRINGING OUT NEW TALENT, IS SET TO INTRODUCE TWO NEW NAMES IN HIS NEXT, ROGUE
The first look of Duvvada Jagannadham, the Allu Arjun starrer, released on Saturday morning. The film is directed by Harish Shankar and Allu Arjun plays a Brahmin chef. He is seen wearing a traditional attire and riding a vegetable laden scooter.
Since the last few days, the film has generated a lot of curiosity with regard to his looks and now that it has released, it is trending on social media. “We have finally unveiled the most awaited first look for the film and the response is phenomenal. Within minutes, the poster started to trend across the world on Twitter. We are also planning to release a teaser on Maha Shivratri,” says producer Dil Raju. He adds that the hit combination of him, director Harish Shankar and Allu Arjun evokes curiosity and the buzz intensifies.
“We have left no stone unturned to ensure the film is going to be the best,” says Dil Raju. Director Puri Jagannadh is known for introducing new faces to Telugu cinema. Some of the popular actresses like Asin, Hansika, Anushka, Rakshita, Neha Sharma, Adah Sharma and the latest, Aditi Arya are introduced by him. Now, with his upcoming film Rogue, another new face will be seen on the big screen. The film will see Angela making her debut in Tollywood and newcomer Ishan, producer CR Manohar’s son, plays the lead. This bilingual (Telugu and Kannada) film has another female lead, Mannara Chopra and both have been given equal importance, says a source.
