Rare Titanic photo auctioned for £360

London: A rare, black and white photograph of the Titanic — which sank during its maiden voyage in 1912 — has been sold for £360 at an auction in the UK. The photograph in a glazed oak frame was taken shortly before the Titanic sank, taking more than 1,500 lives, on its voyage from Southampton to New York. It had been estimated to sell for £200. However, the winning bid of £360 was put forth by an anonymous bidder at Reeman Dansie, a UKbased auction house.
