Prabhu, Vinay top performers

Bowlers dominated the 22yards as M. Prabhu emerged the best bowler in the lot while Sai Kishore and A. Vinay Kumar were the top performers in the batting department in the A10A12 Institutio­n One Day league.

The match between APCS and MCH turned out to be a onesided affair as the former team clinched a comfortabl­e 115-run victory.

Batting first, APCS scored 209 for 6 in 30 overs as Vinay scored a handy 63 while Mohan Reddy missed his 50 by 3 runs.

In response, MCH could not do much as they were bundled out for a paltry 94 as M. Prabhu ran through their batting line-up as he picked five wickets while conceding 18 runs.

The other match between VST and IICT too was a dominating turnout.

Batting first, VST were all out for 90 as K. S. Srinivas took four wickets.

IICT’s chase was anchored by Sai Kishore’s unbeaten 50 as he took helped his team to cruise a comfortabl­e none-wicket win.

The match between NFC and High Court saw some close battle however NFC had the last laugh.

Batting first, NFC posted 161/9 in 25 overs as S. Sandeep scored 40 runs while Sai and N.P. Yadav snared three wickets.

In reply, High Court lost the track and faltered while chasing as they were bowled out for 155.

Md Waheed and Karunakar Reddy claimed four and three wickets respective­ly for NFC.

In another match, Hyderabad Industries proved too strong for Parishram Bhavan as they registered a 8-wicket victory over the latter. Mohan and Srivastava claimed three wickets each for Hyderabad. Brief scores:

NFC 161/9 in 25 overs (S. Sandeep 40, Shandy Dhillon 35, Sai 3/15, N. P. Yadav 3/15) bt High Court 155 in 25 overs (Raj Vikas 35, Md Mesum Abu 30, Sai Prasad 34, Karunakar Reddy 3/21, Md Waheed 4/15).

Parishram Bhavan 102 in 30 overs (Balakrishn­a 39, Mohan 3/21, Srivastava 3/18) lost to Hyderabad Industries 106/2 in 7.1 overs (Tejo Ganesh 37, Mohan 36).
