Permission for towers near schools, hospitals senseless Cellphone towers spoiling health

-

We the residents of Arya Samaj Colony are facing trouble from cellphone towers in our residential colony.

There are five antenna towers in our lane. Two of them are huge and three small. From the time the towers were installed residents have been facing health problems.

We lodged a complaint with the GHMC, TRS, BJP and the Congress. We have printouts and government stamp proof too.

Srinivas Yadav from Secunderabad sent his staff to check the authorisation for installation of the towers. The matter is being looked into too, however there is a delay regarding the same.

Recently, it came in the news that only around 1,000 towers were given permission to be set up in the city. However, there are around 4,800 cellphone antenna towers in our city. I wonder, why no action is being taken against this and why the government and GHMC is delaying in this matter.

We lodged a complaint several years ago but nothing has been done. Still the matter is being delayed and we are not sure what next plan of action of the government is.

The people of our colony are facing serious health problems due to these towers. It’s senseless to permit such huge towers near schools and hospitals.

We live near the Keys High School and there are three hospitals near these towers (Apollo Hospital, Srushti Hospital and Lokobhai Nursing Home). Sharadha Alexander Arya Samaj Colony Hyderabad
