SSC ENGLISH QUESTION PAPER LEAKS

Students and their parents are worried after news broke about the leakage of English Paper-1 on Tuesday. The English Paper-1 exam commenced at 9.30 am on Tuesday and ended by 12.15 pm. But, the question paper of English appeared in WhatsApp at 11.30 am and it was circulated to many.

Parents found the paper in WhatsApp and inquired about it. They called correspondents of the schools where their kids were studying. The news spread like wildfire. It was proved that the question paper that appeared in WhatApp and the one given to students are the same. One or two private colleges of Khammam are suspected to be behind the leakage.

As per details, the education department is using the buses of private colleges to transport question papers from police stations to exam centres. As per rules, the question paper should be opened in the presence of the exam centre chief superintendent and concerned police official.

Sources said the staff of some private colleges, who were in the bus, had a chance to take a shot of the question paper on his cellphone. The investigation is going on in this angle too. The bit paper, that was allegedly leaked carries 30 marks.

District educational officer K. Vijayalaxmi said there was no leakage in the district. But, she said the question paper that appeared in WhatsApp is the same as issued for the exam.

Meanwhile, collector Lokesh Kumar said the incident of question paper appearing in WhatsApp will not come under leakage and that it is malpractice. He said the government checked the matter at all exam centres in the district and concluded it was not a leakage.
