Ranvir Sena, an upper caste Bhumihar militia backed by politicians of every hue, has killed over 400 dalits and poor peasants in periodic attacks. Naxalites retaliated and were killed in encounters, but not one Ranvir Sena man was ever killed by the law and order agency.
