W hy do people seek celebrity? I’m not sure I see the appeal. I understand why it’s important for people who have a gift they want to share. But for those who don’t, it’s often the trappings of success that calls them. Perhaps they see it as the quickest and easiest route to a life of luxury? And I suppose we all understand that motivation. But the grandeur that you’re now courting won’t be offered to you on your reputation alone. W hen growing up with my brother, we often enjoyed video racing games. Occasionally we’d play our own version of what developers now call ‘augmented reality’. While one of us drove the car on the TV screen, the other would sit behind the player, pushing and pulling them about, mimicking the G-force suggested by the on-screen changes in direction. I almost wish I could do the same to you now. Because, the mere act of telling you how much of a reversal in fortunes you’re due doesn’t seem sufficient. Soon though, you’ll begin to feel it! W hen we’re children, our parents teach us that it’s rude to point. Even if we see someone looking absolutely ridiculous, we’re supposed to just act as if this were the most normal thing in the world. If we comment, it must be quietly, to a companion, once we’re sure we’re out of earshot. It’s just not the ‘done thing’ to highlight someone else’s predicament. With Mercury retrograde, you need to be delicate about how you point something out. But, as your ruler Pluto also turns retrograde and Mars changes signs, you need to say something. W hen we sense someone isn’t being entirely honest, it puts us on our guard. We become less inclined to speak openly. Inwardly, we figure, ‘If something’s being hidden from me, perhaps I should hide something too.’ This becomes self-perpetuating. If I think that you’re holding something back, I hold something back. You then sense that I’m holding something back, so you hold back even more. Yet, as Venus turns direct, with Pluto soon retrograde, positive progress must wait until cards are placed on tables and hearts are worn on sleeves.
