Venkateswarlu,L. Tantiya Varre Kumari, M. Vijayanirmala and Imtiaz Ahmed were recommended a panel headed by N. Kiran Kumar Reddy in February 2012.
On a petition, the High Court quashed the appointment of four Commissioners on September 12, 2013. The High Court also found fault with the procedure adopted by the state in the appointment of the commissioners. Commissioners moved Supreme Court which granted stay soon after.
