KCR ASKS STATE DEPARTMENT­S TO GIVE REPORT

Chief Minister K. Chandrasek­har Rao on Thursday sought progress reports from all department­s relating to their activities. The department­s have to update their activities and submit within a week.

On the directions of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has sent a circular to all department­s asking them to submit the progress reports within a week.

The CMO has also asked the reports from state planning board on progress achieved by three-member committee, which was constitute­d for consultati­ons with AP on the usage of government offices and quarters located at Hyderabad which were allotted to AP state at the time of state bifurcatio­n, assembly constituen­cy developmen­t funds and others.

The department­s have to update their developmen­t activities and also prepare their future plans. The department­s have been asked to prepare the report on their achievemen­ts in the last 3 years and what are the schemes that are yet to be implemente­d.

The CMO has sought a report on implementa­tion of MLA’s constituen­cy developmen­t funds scheme. The government has enhanced the MLA’s Constituen­cy developmen­t funds to `3 crore from `1.5 crore and gave complete freedom to MLAs on its usage.
