KTR seeks aid for city lake

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday inspected the Malkam Cheruvu at Raidurgam along with local officials. The minister requested corporate and construction companies to adopt the lake. He said the government was planning to construct sewage treatment plants in the lake to fill it with fresh water. Some company officials said they would come up with proposals to adopt the lake.
