Contractor’s house burgled

Hyderabad: A private contractor's house was burgled while he was out with his family in Kukatpally on Thursday morning. The contactor, Chowdeshwar Rao, had gone out with his family to a temple at KPHB on Thursday at around 11 am. "When he returned from the temple the family found the lock broken and 400 tolas of gold and `1 lakh missing" said Kukatpally sub inspector S. Venkanna. “The theft occurred between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm,” added the sub inspector. Based on a complaint by Chowdeshwar Rao, Kukatpally police booked a case under Section 445 (house breaking) of IPC and launched an investigation.
