POLICE GETS READY TO SEPARATE PRABHAS, PAWAN KALYAN FANS

- DC CORRESPONDENT RAJAHMUNDRY, APRIL 27

Police has beefed up security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents following the release of film actor Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion especially in Bhimavaram in West Godavari, which is a bastion of fans of actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been promulgated and Section 30 of the Police Act is in force. A huge posse of police has been deployed in the town, especially at theatres, and police pickets have been at important centres.

Narasapuram DSP G. Poornachandra Rao said the situation was peaceful.

The fans of actors Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas had clashed in 2014 and tore posters of the rival stars. The police had booked three cases and arrested as many as 55 persons at that time.
