`230cr to clear stormwater drains

Nizamabad: The government released `230 crore of GHMC funds to remove bottlenecks in stormwater drains. Following the inundation caused by the heavy rain of September 2016, 47 storm water drains running for 16.55 km were identified for improvement. The Kukatpally hydraulic zone is the most critical out of 16 zones, 318 properties were affected here out of 1,002 in bottle neck stretches.
