Tanay Tyagarajan and Anuraag Haridas were the top performers in Saturday’s action at the Hyderabad Cricket Associatio­n’s top division league matches. Tanay snared 4 for 25 to spin Sporting XI to an emphatic victory against Deccan Chronicle. Having made 294 in their first innings, Sporting bowled out Deccan Chronicle for 132 & 161 to snatch seven points from the game. In the another match, Anuraag scored 96 for Cambridge XI, who replied to SCRSA’s 393 for 8 declared with 256. Harsh Jhunjhunwa­la (43) too made a decent contributi­on. SCRSA fetched three points while Cambridge had to settle for one.
