Owner away, house burgled

Hyderabad: The house of a trader, Sharat Babu, was burgled at pet Basheerabad while he was away with his family at Vijayawada, police said on Sunday. The house was locked from June 12, and was being looked after the watchman of his other house at Alwal. On Saturday, the watchman checked the house 1 pm. When he returned at 5.30 pm, he found the house burgled and informed Mr Babu. inspector D.V. Ranga Reddy said. The owner rushed back and went to the police. He reported that property and cash worth `5 lakh had been stolen.
