RACKET IN SPURIOUS SEEDS BUSTED

The police busted a spurious seed racket Kandlakoya and seized stocks worth `1.5 crore. The owner was arrested. Sleuths found owner Narender Kumar Jain adulterating seeds with date expired ones.

Police seized the stocks and sent samples for analysis. The police also raided Srusti Seeds in Thorrur after complaints of seeds being adulterated there.
