Poor service by ACT Fibernet

-

Iam a customer of Act Fibernet (registered ID: Syed_uzair786 @yahoo.com, customer name: Syed Hassan).

My Internet connection became slow on May 24, 2017. I filed a complaint (ticket #10126534941) regarding the problem with Act customer service. The next day, a technician named Arjun came to my house to check the matter. He operated my PC to check the issue and did not connect the Net cable to the PC directly. Instead, he opted to check it while the Net cable was connected to my Netgear router.

When I pointed it out to him he said it’s OK and continued the process. He checked the speed and said the speed of the Net was okay and went into my router settings without my consent and tried to experiment with them. This resulted in a problem with my router. I am now unable to use wireless devices and the router. When I complained he said there was a router problem and left. I filed another complaint regarding the router problem (ticket #10126543001).

I was assured of help from Act but they kept on closing the complaint claiming that they have solved my problem. I reopened the ticket many times but it kept on closing without them sending a technician.

Whn I enquired they refused to help me and advised me to purchase a new router saying the problem cannot be solved. It’s now more than a month without any help from Act. Syed Uzair, Hyderabad, syed.uzair78687@ gmail.com

THE technician fiddled with Syed's router without his consent and the router stopped working. He was assured of help by Act but they kept on closing the complaint stating that they have solved the problem.

THE company refused to help him in any way and asked him to purchase a new Net router
