Maruti dupes man of `25K

Ipurchased a WagonR ATM from Kalyani Motors (Plot No: 2, Raghavendra Nagar, Nacharam Road, Besides Vyjayanthi Theatre, Hyderabad-500076, Order #SOB16002784, dated 23-01-2017, Temporary Registration TS08VTR7535) after exchanging my Alto Maruti Car (Registration AP 10 BG 0157).

The WagonR was delivered to me on 1603-2017 (Invoice VSL 16001673 dated 28-012017). They also promised accessories worth `10,000.

Maruti True Value quoted `2,10,000 plus exchange bonus of `25,000 for my car.

I cleared my departmental loan on the Alto car and got the hypothecation cancelled with RTA Secunderabad. As the RTA was short of registration cards there was a delay in getting the RC.

As the RC was getting delayed, I told True Value to return my car so that I can pay the cash of `2,10,000+`25,000 and take delivery of the WagonR on 11-02-2017. They said they have already sold the car. Though the full amount was paid as on 11-022017, Kalyani Motors delivered the vehicle only on 16-03-2017 as the RC of the Alto car was not given.

I got the RC from RTA,

Maruti True Value quoted `2,10,000 plus exchange bonus of `25,000 for my car but it made me lose `25,000.

Secunderabad on 16-032017 and went to take delivery of the WagonR. Kalyani Motors insisted that I should pay back the exchange bonus of `25,000 and only then the vehicle will be delivered. I argued with them that they have already sold the car and got the money and so why are they asking me to pay back the exchange bonus.

The lady executive sarcastically said if I don’t take delivery of the vehicle, they will give a cheque after deducting 25 per cent of the amount paid. After a long discussion they agreed to take `15,000 and cancel the `10,000 accessories.

Though they sold the Alto and got the money, Kalyani Motors cheated me on the exchange bonus. I had an offer for my Alto for the same amount, but I went for Maruti True Value and lost `25,000.
