Double bonanza for SCCL miners

Miners of Singareni Collieries Company Limited now have two reasons to celebrate.

They will be paid performance linked reward (PLR) as Diwali bonus apart from Dasara advance.

Each SCCL employee will get `57,000 as PLR and `25,000 as Dasara advance.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has given a green signal for the PLR.

The company will be spending `456 crore on it.

Both PLR and festival advance have been increased from `54,000 to `57,000 and `18,000 to `25,000 respectively. With this each worker would be getting `82,000 in total.

A whopping amount of `336 crore for Diwali bonus and `120 crore for Dasara advance will be disbursed.

Dasara advance will be credited to bank accounts of employees on September 22.

Diwali bonus would be credited in the second week of October, just before the festival.

PLR bonus, which was `48,500 in 2014-15, and `54,000 in 2015-16, has now increased to `57,000.

N. Sridhar, SCCL chairman and managing director, has advised the employees to use the bonus money wisely.

EACH SCCL employee will get `57,000 as PLR and `25,000 as Dasara advance.

THE COMPANY will be spending `456 crore on it.
