Train engine catches fire
Hyderabad: A train engine caught fire in the early hours of Tuesday at Lingampally. Timely intervention by the railway staff brought the situation under control. Officials from South Central Railway (SCR) said that Kurnool Intercity passenger train was sent to Lingampally station at 3.30 am for halting after it dropped passengers at Secunderabad. When the train reached the station, the engine caught fire and the driver informed the railway control room. Due to this incident, SCR rescheduled all local trains.
