YOGI’S STATUE PLANS

Building more temples or installing Ram statue will be in no way helpful to elevate the majority community on the pedestal of progress (Yogi plans Ram statue, DC Oct. 11). UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has to focus on improving the lives of people below the poverty line. G.V. Krishna Murthy Himayatnagar, Hyderabad It seems that by erecting a `195 crore 100-metre-tall statue of Lord Ram, UP Chief Minister Adityanath dreams that Ramrajya can be established. If he can spend this money, or even the interest it can earn, to buy oxygen cylinders for hospitals in his state, it would bring in the real Ramrajya. Wg. Cdr. V.
