INTEL, OEMs TO PROVIDE GST ENABLED DEVICES

Hyderabad, Oct. 11: Intel India on Wednesday said it is collaborating with various computer manufacturers and other stakeholders to make GST software bundled devices available to local businesses across the country.

Jitendra Chaddah, senior director, operations and strategy, Intel India told reporters that the goal is to enable MSMEs and businesses experience a hassle-free GST as businesses must futureproof themselves to be GST ready and perform complex tasks to scale their businesses in the digital age. “In less than three months, more than 22 crore invoices have been filed online, and Intel India believes that as more micro enterprises and small businesses adopt PCs, the number of filings will only increase.

“To make this a reality, Intel India is collaborating with the ecosystem, including Acer, Dell, Lenovo, HP, iBall, and Forstar (a subsidiary of Karvy), to make GST software bundled devices available,” Mr Chaddah said.
