Recognition sought for CA course

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has shown its support to the board’s move to recognise the chartered accountancy course as a postgraduate course. The board has also sought the second stage of CA i.e intermediate to be treated as a graduation course. The step has been decided by the board after realising that many universities do not consider chartered accountancy as a criteria for students who want to pursue higher education.
