Dealing with Onida not easy
Ipurchase a 43-inch full HD smart LED Onida TV (Model No. LEO43FAIN) from Amazon that I received on November 19, 2016 paying `35,999 at the cost.
Within six months, however, the TV set started giving problems with scroll lines appearing on the screen while it played. I lodged a complaint with Onida custmer care following which an executive visited my home.
I was informed that the TV panel had a problem and needs to be changed.
My set is under warranty for two years (from November 2016). I keep calling them to do the needful for my TV but Onida customer care call centre does not seem to be bothered about my problem. I have called nearly 15 times but they have not responded.
By publishing my problem in the newspaper, I aim to make people aware of the the problems they may have to face at some time in such dealings as I have been facing for the last six months.
My TV has not been working and I do not want others to face this problem from Onida consumer electronics. My complaints register numbers with Onida are (in March) 1703A616380380, (in July) 1707H646380058 and 1707H646380128.
