The Supreme Court’s ban on fire­crack­ers in New Delhi is welcome as it will re­duce both air and noise pol­lu­tion. The next step should be to ban blar­ing of loud­speak­ers at places of wor­ship and func­tions which causes a lot of dis­tur­bance to the com­mon man. U.N.
