Travis looks for Headstart
Having propelled Australia to a series-levelling victory in the second Twenty20, middle order Travis Head is upbeat ahead of the decider on Friday. “This series is still alive. Hopefully, either Moises or I can do it again and win it for Australia,” the southpaw said. Head got rid of a string of low scores by hitting 48 off 34 balls at Guwahati and stitched an unbeaten 109-run partnership in the company of Moises Henriques, said he cherished the stand with his fellow middle order batsman. “It was nice to be in a winning partnership. As batters you want to be out there in the middle and win games for your side,” he said. Speaking of his performance on the tour, Head said he was disappointed to miss out on various chances to win matches for his side in the ODI series. “The tour had been pretty disappointing. I made some good starts but failed to execute my plans throughout,” the 23-year-old said.
