THE STATE GOVERNMENT EXTENDED THE TENURE OF CERTAIN OFFICERS, USUALLY THROUGH GOVERNMENT ORDERS:

■ SEPT 29, 2017: Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Department - Mr B Surender Reddy, Engineer-In-Chief (RWS & S) was given a two-year extension. The reason cited was the importance of the ongoing Mission Bhagiratha project.

■ JULY 31, 2015: Mr T Yesurathan­am, Regional Transport Officer, Siddipet, Medak district, due to retire in July 2015 was given an extension of two years, ending this July.

■ JULY 30, 2017: Irrigation and Command Area Developmen­t department. Mr J Vijaya Prakash, in-charge Engineer-inchief, got a two-year extension. The reason cited was that the Devadula project was very crucial and Mr Prakash has been working for five years in various capacities.

■ JUNE 30, 2017: In I & CAD Department Mr C Muralidhar, Engineer-in-Chief (irrigation) was given a two-year extension.

■ JUNE 30, 2017: Irrigation & CAD department Mr T Venkatesha­m, Executive Engineer, was reappointe­d on contract basis after superannua­tion for a period of one year.

■ FEB. 28, 2017: Roads and Buildings department, Mr I Ganapathi Reddy, Engineer-in-chief was given a three-year extension.

■ FEB. 28, 2017: Roads and Buildings department, Md. Nazeer Ahmed, Superinten­dent Engineer (R&B) Adilabad, was given a two-year extension.

■ FEB. 28, 2017: Roads and Buildings Department Mr M Balanarsai­ah, Executive Engineer, Siddipet, was given an extension of one year.
