With Hyderabad Metro Rail slated for inauguration along with the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) between November 28 and 30, the state government has got a unique opportunity to put its best foot forward by showcasing world’s largest Metro Rail project in the PPP mode.

The government has drawn up plans for special Metro Rail trips for the GES delegates from 160 countries.

Hyderabad Metro Rail is considered to be the world’s largest Metro Rail project in the PPP mode with `20,000 crore investment.

The state government has been making efforts to organise a global investors’ summit in the state since its formation in June 2014. The state government is banking on the upcoming GES to attract foreign funds to the state.

The government will showcase Metro Rail at the three-day global investors’ summit to reap rich dividends. The government believes that the unique features of Metro Rail will translate into investment for the state at the GES.

During their threeday stay in the city, the municipal administration and urban development department is planning to arrange a ride for the delegates from Miyapur to Ameerpet where stations are equipped with worldclass facilities.

The government has set up various committees, headed by senior officers, to oversee the GES. The chief secretary is also actively involved in this.
